Community Day at the Zoo

The Sacramento Zoo is a nonprofit, educational organization proudly accredited by the American Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The zoo strives to inspire appreciation, respect and a connection with wildlife and nature through education, recreation and conservation. Over 300 native, rare and endangered animals call the Sacramento Zoo home. Representing over 90 unique species, the animals at the Sacramento Zoo are sure to amaze and inspire visitors of all ages.
